Ted Zacher Memorial Project

Ted Zacher had a dream; “To give the people of the Santa Elena Peninsula of Ecuador a chance for a longer and better life through education, basic public health and job skills”. He had hoped to see his dream to fruition before he died.

Ted would have been our District Governor during the Rotary year 2007-08. As a memorial to Ted we can make his dream a reality during 07-08 through the “Ted Zacher Memorial Project”.

To insure the success of the WCS Memorial project we are requesting that each District 5110 Club consider a minimum donation of $500. If each District Club participates we can complete Ted’s dream.

Please send your donations now or pledges to donate during the 2007- 08 Rotary year to the Roseburg Rotary Club %Ron Baker 1272 NW Cherry Drive Roseburg, Oregon 97470.

Checks should be made out to the Roseburg Rotary Club and the subject section should state that the funds are for the “Ted’s Dream Fund”. Clubs will receive Paul Harris recognition points when the project is funded by TRF. There is no better way we can honor this great Rotarian.
