Being District Governor is very much like being Club President . . . it's difficult to give up the wheel! Just when you figure it out, it's time to turn the keys over to someone else. Knowing what I know now about the job, would I do it again? Oh yes absolutely! (Though not being retired was tougher than I'd anticipated.) I wish each of you had the opportunity to visit the 66 clubs of our district and learn about all the projects both in our communities and abroad what an eye-opener! But the best part was getting to know all of you. Your warm hospitality and enthusiastic welcome made me feel like every club was my home club. The composition of each club is different, the projects vary, the traditions and joviality are never the same. We fine or we brag, we sing or pray, we have tight agendas or we go with the flow. But we ALL devote our time to Rotary because we CARE we believe in Service Above Self we strive for World Peace and Understanding. We are Rotarians!
