District Service

There's no value for even having this list, other than having a place to go if someone clicks one of these position links. The only reason I set up the list at all is to make the links go _somewhere_, but I really don't want to attract people to this page because it doesn't answer the question "What does the Administration Director do?" and it doesn't say anything about "Why do we have a Public Image director?". It doesn't explain whether these positions are somehow tied to particular District Committees or if these are people working sort of independently. I can't tell you the answers to these questions, either, I only want the links to go somewhere, so that the website doesn't look broken.

I expect the main goal of these new positions is to give certain deserving Rotarians more position titles as recognition of their service to the District.

I don't think anyone will intentionally look for the list, but it's better to send them to a list than to have broken links on a bunch of members' pages.

In the back of my mind, this list could be titled "District Positions Which Have Not Yet Been Described". The people listed in this list only have one thing in common, "District Service", and the list is arguably not a complete list of people doing service for the District. Tim's busy and may never get around to explaining to us whatever these Directors are supposed to be doing.
