District Goals 2006 - 2007
OVERALL GOALS:
- Participation of each club in a World Community Service project;
- Enhance literacy in youth, furnish a dictionary to every third grade student in the public school systems within the district;
- Conduct a district-wide speech contest on the Four Way Test;
- Send and host two GSE teams, one with India District 3040 and one with Boliva District 4690;
- Experience a District-wide positive membership growth of at least 150 members;
- Charter a minimum of three new clubs within the district;
- Hold a New Generations Conference in conjunction with the District Conference.
GOALS FOR THE ROTARY FOUNDATION:
- Rotarians in District 5110 are committed to supporting The Rotary Foundation through the “Every Rotarian Every Year” program;
- Increase the number of first-time givers to the Foundation by 200;
- District-wide annual giving to exceed $600,000;
- In an effort to encourage District 5110 Rotarians to make larger gifts to The Rotary Foundation, District 5110 has established a system of recognition levels for larger Annual Programs Fund gifts:
- Double Rotary Sustaining Member: Recognition given to a District 5110 Rotarian who makes a $200 to $499 gift to The Rotary Foundation in one Rotary year.
- Arch Klumph Society Member: Recognition given to a District 5110 Rotarian who makes a $500 to $999 gift to The Rotary Foundation in one Rotary year.
- Paul Harris Society Member: Recognition given to a District 5110 Rotarian who makes a $1,000 or more gift to The Rotary Foundation in one Rotary year.
- District 5110 is also committed to educating our Rotarians about the Permanent Fund and encouraging them to become “Benefactors” or “Bequest Society” members.
- Each District 5110 Rotary Club will have one program during the Rotary year on The Rotary Foundation’s Permanent Fund.
- The District 5110’s TRF Committee will conduct at least one evening informational meeting on The Rotary Foundation’s Permanent Fund in each of the ten areas of the District.
