Nominating Committee

My Fellow District 5110 Rotarians:

On behalf of the District Nominating Committee, and in accordance with the District 5110 Policy Manual and the most recent adopted enactments at the Council on Legislation, I hereby open the call for suggestions for candidates to serve as District Governor 2011 - 2012 in District 5110. Please pay particular attention to the requirements for District Governor:

• Must have served one full term as a Rotary Club President
• Must have completed seven years of Rotary service by the time he/she becomes governor.

In order to suggest a qualified Rotarian the following is required:

• Club Resolution certifying the suggestion of a qualified candidate (signed and dated by the Club Secretary)
• Rotary International Governor-Nominee Data Form (Both forms and instructions are available for download at the links below.)
• Supplemental information limited to:
  • A photo of the candidate
  • A biographic sketch/resume of his/her personal, business and Rotary background

The deadline for submission is October 14, 2008, and the interview will take place October 25, 2008 at the Village Green in Cottage Grove. You are encouraged to act now and not wait until the last minute.

Completed applications must be received by the members of the nominating committee no later than October 14, 2008. Contact information for the Nominating Committee is included below.
