Dist. Governor Mike Fischnaller and AG Ken Mischel To Visit Southtowne Rotary Oct. 29th For Dinner
Southtowne Rotary Board and Members are invited to meet and dine with the visiting DG and AG and their wives on Wednesday, October 29th at the Downtown Athletic Club beginning with a meeting from 5 to 6:30PM, cash bar from 6:30 to 7PM and dinner from 7 to 9PM.

Attendees are asked to sign up in advance at the Thursday lunch meetings on October 9, 16, and 23rd.

The price for dinner is $30. per person and will include a choice of entrees:

          Tip Steak with Mushroom sauce,
          Baked Salmon in Lemon-Dill Sauce
          Roasted Hazelnut and Mushroom Fettuccini in a light sherry sauce
          With salad and breads
          Dessert and Coffee

Since Halloween is close behind this meeting, President Ron encourages those attending this dinner to come in costume as your favorite historical character. We look forward to a good turn out to welcome our new District Governor and hope that our members will support this evening.

Southtowne Wins Again? That's Par for the Course
Well, thanks to our own Rick Duncan, Gary Schwieger and other Southtowners, this year's annual golf tournament was a real success. Gary, are you sure you have only played a few times this year?
Past President's Social Roundtable

Local Community Service Opportunity
If you're looking for a way to plug in and participate in community service on a local level (service above self, and all that), plan on joining other Rotarians on October 25, 2008 to plant trees on Green Island.
