ROTARY INTERNATIONAL DISTRICT 5110 - RI PRESIDENT RAY KLINGINSMITH
District Governor Claire Little — Thank you Claire for giving us this amazing opportunity to shine. And thank you for providing a worthy vision of what the newsletter could be, then letting us figure out how best to accomplish it.
District Secretary Mitch Allen — Thank you Mitch for your ongoing support and your diligence in sending out notices and reminders to clubs and committees urging them to get their submissions in on time.
Webmasters Kevin Martin and Ralph Zeller – Thank you Kevin and thank you Ralph for your support, your technical expertise, and your continued patience as we struggled through the wiki language learning process.
Contributors – We especially want to thank all of the individuals who gave of their time to produce and submit content to the newsletter—-without your articles and photographs, the newsletter simply would not exist.
Readers - Thank you to everyone who took the time to read the articles in these monthly newsletters--without you, everyone's work would have been for naught. And a special thanks to those who sent in comments and kudos, thus assuring us that somebody was "listening."
Farewell - This June 2011 issue is our last, and while we could say we are sad to be giving it up, that might not quite be following the four-way-test :). But seriously, it has been a lot of fun AND a lot of work. We have learned a lot and we have enjoyed the task. And now, we are happy to be moving on to other Rotary activities.
Welcome - Starting with the July 2011 issue, the new District Newsletter Editor will be Hyla Lipson of the Grants Pass Rotary Club. Hyla’s technical support person will be John Minter of the Florence Rotary Club. All submissions for the July 2011 issue should be sent directly to Hyla at her newsletter e-mail address: firstname.lastname@example.org. Hyla has been doing an awesome job with the Grants Pass Rotary newsletter, and so we are confident that she will do an amazing job with the district’s newsletter.
Thank you to everyone in District 5110 for giving us this opportunity to serve.
