DISTRICT 5110 GOALS FOR 2010-2011

  • Grow D5110 membership by 200 new Rotarians and retains 90% of members
  • Match or exceed the District’s best result over the last five years for Annual Giving to the Rotary Foundation
  • Increase in Rotarian benefactors by 5% and major donors to the Rotary Foundation by five
  • Charter one new Rotary club; Sponsor two new Roteract clubs and two new Interact clubs
  • Continue the D5110 dictionary project
  • Support Rotary First Harvest, a district endorsed project
  • Sponsor at least one Peace Fellow Scholar
  • Sponsor an Ambassadorial Scholar emphasizing one of the six areas of RI emphasis as outlined in the Future Vision Plan
  • Applicants to the Leadership Academy represent a broad cross section of all D5110 geographic areas
  • District clubs collaborate on local and international projects

CLUB

Administration

  • Each club adopts all or part of the club leadership plan
  • Each club increases its members’ attendance at the District Conference on April 29-May 1, 2011 in Coos Bay, Oregon
  • Each club sends a minimum of one Rotarian to the Rotary Leadership Institute training and sponsors club leaders to the D5110 Leadership Academy

Membership

  • Each club has net growth in membership and retains 90% of its membership

Public Relations

  • Each club sponsors an event that raises awareness of Rotary’s role in the eradication of polio and raises at least the equivalent of $20 per member for the year

The Rotary Foundation

  • Every Rotarian participates in the Rotary Foundation’s Annual Programs Fund
  • Every club reaches or exceeds $100 per capital contributions to the Annual Programs Fund
  • Each club reaches or exceeds five percent of members who are benefactors
  • Each club educates its members about becoming major donors or making bequests to the Rotary Foundation
  • Each club matches or exceeds its best result over the last five years for Annual Giving to the Rotary Foundation

Service Projects

  • Each club participates as the lead or a partner with other clubs in an international service project
  • Each club participates in at least one other international program and two youth programs
  • Each club participates in the Rotary Work day in April 2011

CLUB PRESIDENT

  • Club Presidents sets an example to club members by contributing to the Rotary Foundation at least the amount of the club’s per capita average
  • Each Club President encourages Every Rotarian, Every Year support of the Rotary Foundation
  • Each Club president encourages the Each One, Reach One membership campaign
  • Each Club president sponsors at least one additional club member
