Theatre option: Eurydice by Sarah Ruhl at the Lord Leebrick theatre $12 An inventive retelling of the story of Orpheus and Eurydice that is both funny and heartbreaking. Sarah Ruhl (MacArthur and Pulitzer Prize nominee) uses a unique poetic style to recount the classic Greek myth from the heroine’s point of view. Described as “a magical play with gripping emotional potency,” Eurydice showcases Pulitzer Prize Nominee Ruhl’s gift for creating unforgettable imagery. “ … a love letter to the world that deserves to be remembered for a good long time.”
