CAMP RYLA is a 6-day leadership camp for high school sophomores who have a strong desire to make their school or community a better place. Up to 140 students, both boys and girls, will participate.
The camp teaches leadership skills while instilling the Rotary ideal of high ethical standards with the 4-Way Test. It inspires young people to create and carry out projects that exemplify Service Above Self. RYLA also introduces them to exciting opportunities through other Rotary youth programs.

CAMP RYLA seeks students with leadership potential, not necessarily proven leadership skills. Ideal RYLA candidates have the creativity and capacity to think outside the box, compassion for others, and the courage to step out of their “comfort zone” in facing challenges.
The week is designed to be fun for all participants, but students should come to camp expecting to work hard, not just play.
ONLY CURRENT HIGH SCHOOL SOPHOMORES - Sorry, no exceptions.
RECRUITMENT FOR CAMP RYLA 2010 IS NOW CLOSED.
The cost of the camp is paid entirely by the sponsoring Rotary clubs, who recruit and select the campers. Interested students should contact their local Rotary club, high school counselor or leadership teacher for information about applications, interviews, and deadlines.
