Deadline - All nominations due March 31 unless otherwise noted in “To Nominate” or “Selection” column.
Club Size - Shall be based on membership figures in the January 2009 Semi-Annual Report.

1. Achieve a net membership increase of at least 5% by March 31, using the July 2008 Semi-Annual Report as the baseline. 2. Carry out at least one project meeting the “Make Dreams Real Theme” --- water management, literacy, health and hunger, or Family of Rotary. 3. Under 50 clubs: 2 new benefactors; over 50 clubs, 4 new benefactors. 4. Club must have 100% of member participation and achieve a minimum of $150/capita in unrestricted annual giving. | ||||
DISTRICT GOVERNOR DISCRETIONARY AWARDS AND RECOGNITION
At his/her discretion, the District Governor may recognize selected individuals or clubs for “Service Above Self”. Examples might include:
- Outstanding District Committee Chairs
- Retiring Committee Chairs
- Retiring Assistant Governors
- District Officers
ROTARY INTERNATIONAL RESOURCE GROUP AWARDS
Some RI resource groups will establish criteria to recognize outstanding participation in their respective activity area. One example is the Literacy Resource Group where both Zone 23 and District certificates are provided.
Coordination is done by the specific district activity chair appointed by the District Governor.

CLUB AWARDS
Clubs are encouraged to:
- Recognize outstanding participation by a club member, such as Rotarian of the Year/Quarter, Outstanding Rotary Family
- Recognize community members for excellence in their vocations, for example: outstanding teacher, outstanding law enforcement person, outstanding community citizen or business, student of the month/quarter/year
We tend to recognize Rotarians for their Rotary service. How about recognizing Rotarians for their civic activities and leadership?
