Rogue Gateway Annual Dog Care Fair

The Rotary Club of Rogue Gateway's 5th Annual Dog Care Fair will take place on Saturday, June 8th at Riverside Park in Grants Pass. The event will begin at 10:00am and run through 1:30pm. The program is filled with fun for the whole family – contests, demonstrations, raffles, vendors and non-profit organizations to complete the day. There are the ever popular Weenie Dog Races, Poker Walk and Adoptable Pooch Parade just to name a few of the highlights. The funds raised from this event will benefit the Rogue Valley Humane Society, Canine Angels and Rogue Gateway Rotary. Download the registration form.
Jacksonville-Applegate "Taste of Summer"

The Rotary Club of Jacksonville-Applegate will participate as a food vendor (sort of our fundraising specialty) in the upcoming city celebration, "Taste of Summer", an open air wine and food fest at the old County Courthouse in Historic Jacksonville on June 8.
Rogue Gateway Ride the Rogue

If you can’t make it to Grants Pass for the Dog Care Fair, you can still help support Rogue Gateway Rotary by buying seat(s) on the Ride the Rogue with Rotary scenic jetboat trip through Hellgate Jetboat Excursions. 100% of the income from this scenic trip down the Rogue River on Saturday, June 15th will be used toward the Dog Care Fair. The trip is only $45.00 per person and that includes a “meet and greet” at the Taprock hospitality room with light refreshments at noon, and the boat leaving at 1:00 p.m. Download the registration form.
Roseburg Morning Duck Run

The Rotary Club of Roseburg Morning will hold its 3rd annual Duck Run at 8:00am on August 24, 2013. The Duck Run is a complement to the annual Duck Race to raise funds to combat child abuse in Douglas County, and all proceeds from the run will be given to the Roseburg Rotary Duck Race. We will have 5 km and 10 km runs, a 5 km walk and a kids fun run. The run starts and ends at River Forks Park in Roseburg. Online registration is available at http://www.rotaryduckracerun.com Last year we had 130 participants and the goal is to double the number this year.
Cottage Grove Cycle the Lakes

The Rotary Club of Cottage Grove will host its third annual Cycle the Lakes ride in Cottage Grove. Whether you choose a 32, 67, or 102 mile ride, you won’t be disappointed in the surrounds. Gaze upon picture-perfect views of Dorena Lake, Cottage Grove Lake, covered bridges, rivers and streams. Each ride includes the Row River Trail, a national recognized paved trail, that connects the City of Cottage Grove to Dorena Lake and Culp Creek. Food stations on the routes, along with support vehicles, help ensure a great ride. Registration by September 7 is $35 and $40 beginning September 8. Registration for age 17 and under is $25 by September 7 and $30 beginning September 8. Free bike safety check if you register by September 7.
